At the heart of samedifference is a lived experience.
I’m proud to be openly gay and Black, and those intersecting identities have shaped the way I see and move through the world. I've faced exclusion, prejudice and discrimination first-hand, but rather than let those experiences define me, I chose to use them as fuel to empower others.
In 2015, after years in full-time employment, I founded samedifference to create inclusive workplace cultures where everyone feels psychologically safe, respected and valued. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of delivering training to over 50,000 people across public, private and voluntary sectors.
What sets me apart is authenticity. I speak candidly and honestly, bringing not just professional knowledge, but lived insight. I share real stories to help others build resilience, challenge bias, and take meaningful action to create equity, equality and inclusion at every level of their organisation.
